Absolutely fantastic service, my regular dog walkers, Jenny and Neil are wonderful, so good with my dog Acer, and very reliable. They are both loved by Acer - she waits at her front door for them and very excited when they arrive. We are so thrilled to have found Vicki and her team. We have two very high maintenance Bengal cats who have a long list of specific needs and wants. Vicki took the time to listen and note all their demands and I am now relaxed about leaving them because I know Vicki and her team will take as good care of them as I do myself. Leaving your treasured family members with someone else is such a huge deal, I am so relieved to find people I can completely trust. Not only do Vicki and her team look after the cats, she will water plants, pick up post etc. They are very friendly, utterly professional, and extremely adaptable even at short notice. Kim is our dog's favourite human, he absolutely adores her and the adventures they go on. She even shares his love of bird watching, so is happy to let him sit at the nearby ponds and watch the ducks for a few minutes as part of their walk - His idea of heaven, I'm sure of it. We couldn't ask for a better person to share our dog with.

Kim came to feed our guinea pigs for a few days whilst we were away. There was a visit first to find out about our pets and a form to fill in so they had all the information needed to care for our gp's appropriately (amount of food, name, etc). Kim provided updates every day. Very happy with Friends For Pets and will be using them again.

Highly recommend. When I was looking for someone to look after my cat Albus whilst I was away, I got in touch with Friends For Pets. Kim is brilliant and has a real love for animals. When she visited, she always kept me up to date and nothing seemed too much trouble. Have used Friends For Pets a few times now and will use for the future. Love the WhatsApp group that's created and feel I can get in touch with Kim even when it's short notice to look after Albus.

Highly recommended. Kim looked after my cat Ernie for a few days recently, she was fab. Explained everything to me really clearly, took notes of all Ernie’s requirements and was trustworthy and reliable. She sent photos twice a day and a little message to let me know everything was good. A couple of days in, he became poorly and she had to take him to the vets and even though this must have all been pretty stressful it seemed that nothing was too much trouble for her and she dealt with it all really professionally. On top of all this, their rates are competitive. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars.

We are thrilled that we found Friends For Pets. They have become a very important part of our precious dog's life and have provided her with safety, stability and love through some very difficult (and happy) times! Lucy and her team in Bristol are the best ever and we wouldn't use any other daycare or dog walking company. FFPs provide a service that is just like being at home, ensuring Dora gets to have loads of enriching fun with kind people and dogs her own size. As pet parents, it is so important to us to know that the pet carers are animal centred and first aid trained. They don't take loads of dogs at once and Dora has always been able to meet other dogs first and become familiar with them before we make a booking. The pet carers use their own homes and gardens so Dora truly feels at home which is wonderful. Crucially for us, the pet carers at FFPs treat Dora as one of the family, with love and kindness, just as they would their own animals. They have been able to mirror Dora's own, at home routines in their own homes, even allowing Dora to share their bed when she's stayed over. This has made a massive difference to Dora, and us, during stressful times like moving house, where stability has been so important. Dora has made friends for life at FFPs and adores her carers and her doggy pals. In the last year, we have moved home twice and Dora has had some serious health worries. FFPs were there for us throughout, offering flexibility, support and genuine care and compassion. Thank you so much FFPs!!!

Vicki at Friends For Pets was recommended by a friend after I started a new job and needed a daily dog walker. I've been absolutely delighted with Vicki right from the start. My dog Sammy loves her to bits and I know she is in the very best of hands. Communication is great and I even get some photos and videos of Sammy out on her adventures. Vicki was also extremely accommodating when my shifts initially kept changing. Sammy is walked alone and with other dogs which is great and is taken to a variety of locations. Jake can be extremely shy around people he doesn't know and he has struggled in the past when I've gone away, but Maddy did a wonderful job taking care of him. We have been using Friends for Pets for nearly 3 years now and couldn't ask for more. They are brilliant with our 2 dogs and take great care of them. One of our dogs is a rescue dog and can be nervous around other people and dogs, this didn't worry our pet carer and they have been very patient with her. Our dogs love going for walks with their pet carer and it is lovely to hear how they have enjoyed their walks or to receive a picture. We have total trust in all at Friends for Pets and have faith that our dogs are safe with them. They have become part of our family and we wouldn't trust our dogs with anyone else.

Anna was with Helen yesterday and we were quite anxious for both of them. When I arrived at Helen's after work, Anna was clearly very settled and happy which was so good to see, as well as a huge relief! Helen said she had taken a couple of hours to settle once James had dropped her off but that was a lot less time than we had anticipated knowing what she's usually like with new situations. So both Helen and Kelly have worked really well! A big thank you for setting this up and we look forward to it continuing!

I use Friends for Pets to look after our cats if we are going away. The service is great and very professional. I was even asked well in advance of Christmas if I'd need any visits around Christmas and New Year just so I could be scheduled in! I appreciate the reminder and personal service.

Kelly was brilliant. She was 5 mins down the road from us, really friendly and Barney loved his stay with her. After meeting Kelly I felt so much better about leaving him. I was a bit nervous at first but Kelly made me feel so relaxed and I knew I could trust him with her. I did feel a bit bad as Barney is a early riser so he did have Kelly up early but that didn’t seem to phase Kelly. She mentioned recently losing her lovely lab so I think Barney was a bit of a distraction for her and her family but in a good way. She sent me pictures and videos so I knew he was fine. Would definitely use Kelly again, if she’d have us that is!

Julia has been looking after our pets for a considerable time. She is very jolly, trustworthy & reliable, I don't know what we would do without her! We enjoy reading the twice daily reports she leaves for us when we return, there is always something amusing in them! I would not hesitate in recommending her to anyone.

Jim has been looking after my Labrador now for 6 months. Every time i drop my dog off,he cant wait to see Jim and spend the day with him and other dogs he may be looking after that day. Can't give enough praise to Sue our dog walker in Penarth. Such a great service and Shadow our dog had fantastic walks every day of our hols - we had an introduction meeting beforehand to check both parties were ok - (we weren't sure how Shadow would take to a stranger walking him as never had to do this before and also wanted to make sure Sue was OK as Shadow is a large and boisterous Pointer). I cannot praise Julia highly enough. I am so glad I found her. I often go away at the last minute and she tries her very best to help me out if she can. I was ill recently and not only did Julia come and take my dog Molly for a walk at short notice she also got a few things from Tesco for me! I know Julia cares very much for the animals she looks after but there is downside, Molly has such a lovely time when she is boarding with her she doesn't always want to come home again!

I used Friends for Pets South Bristol as I needed a pet sitter for my cat over the Christmas period and for a short break over new year. The gentleman I initially spoke to over the phone was very helpful and the lady who came out to my house was lovely. The service is good value for money and they were very accommodating to the needs of my elderly cat! I am using them again this Christmas and am confident that they will be my go-to pet sitters from now on!

Sally at Friends for Pets has been fantastic with our 10 month old Sprocker, Morgan, over the last 4 months. Regular updates, able to pick up walks at short notice, and Morgan is always very happy (and muddy, which means she's had a great time!) when I get home. Sally has gone well above the call of duty, cleaning up after her when she had been poorly, not a trace left in the house and called me straight away to let me know she was unwell. I was wary about leaving my pup in the care of someone else, but Sally has put my mind at ease and I know Morgan is having a great time whilst I am hard at work!

We have used Amanda on many occasions to look after Hector, and from when he was only a few months old. Amanda made him feel welcome straight away and when we picked him up, has been calm and happy. We needed someone to look after our puppy for two days a week while I'm at work. Friends for Pets have really helped us out! We have the most caring lovely dog walker who takes our dog out once a week for a lovely walk. She varies where they go, sometimes it's with him, sometimes with other dogs, AND she feeds him! She's so lovely, my children loved her when they met her too! Friends4Pets is a great service. I could not do my current job without them. I really believe Jim cares about my dogs and to them he is one more member of their family. Unlike some other places I never worry about leaving my dogs with Jim, as I know they are going to get lots of exercise and cuddles, and take their pills when they need to. There are never more than two other dogs in the house and Jim makes sure they all get along - they have made some new friends that way! The cost of the service is very realistic for using it long term. Jim has been very flexible about accommodating occasional overnight trips and late hours, and even gave me a lift when I was stuck in the snow once! When I have needed to change my arrangements, either Jim or Sam has come to my house to feed and walk the dogs with no fuss. When I went on holiday my dogs stayed with another of the Friends4Pets carers and I was very pleased to see how relaxed and happy they were when I fetched them home. I cannot recommend Friends for Pets highly enough. They have taken care of our spaniel, Ruby, since she was a small puppy with regular walks during the week and overnight boarding when we go away. She always has a great time and is very well cared for. I have always found them to be exceptionally reliable, trustworthy and accommodating to our needs. Don't know what I would do without them!

Friends for Pets works brilliantly for us. It's home from home for Duffy. Julia looks after her so well and Duffy is always a happy and healthy dog in her care. There's great flexibility which we sometimes really need. We really believe Friends for Pets works so much better than kennels or other services for a beloved family pet.

I have an 18 month old pug. Amanda has been looking after him since he was 12 weeks old and I couldn't recommend her more! Dug absolutely loves her and she is brilliant with him. I am a big worrier and wouldn't trust many people with Dug but I trust Amanda completely.

Andrew my pet carer has been walking Mr Flynn for a few months now, I am extremely grateful to him for a number of reasons. Flynn is a rescue Rottweiler, and has a few issues, Andrew has taken this all on board, and manages him and his issues. He listened carefully to all that I told him, and has formed a great bond with Mr Flynn. Andrew has also been flexible with his time, and this gives me great peace of mind, if I have to go away or work late. Overall, I am delighted with the service Andrew provides

I cannot thank Catherine (Cardiff) enough. She walks my mother-in-laws dog, Lily 3 times a week as she is unable to do so herself. She has turned a nervous and timid dog into the playful, confident and happy dog she is now. Catherine is so understanding to the last minute changes that happen in our family and I'm not sure how we would've coped without her. We definitely would'nt have such a happy little doggy. Both Karen and Chris have been wonderful and really look after my beloved doggies. Karen has been such a godsend looking after the hounds on a lunchtime- I know they are in safe and loving hands! And Chris was amazing when Sky was poorly on her first boarding experience and went out of her way to ensure Sky was OK. Becca and Corrine have been really accommodating with bookings, and ensure the dogs are always looked after when needed. I think you provide a unique service, you clearly have an eye for the right people to care for pets. Reliability is so key, especially when you work and we've never been let down. Our 1 year old cocker spaniel Hetty, loved her day with Catherine and family. She has also had great stays with Sue. We need occasional day care and this organisation has been a real find. The original questionnaire covers important areas and ensures peace of mind.

I can't rate Catherine highly enough! When Ozzy (my cocker spaniel) and I met her for the first time she was warm, kind and Ozzy took to her straight away. She has helped us out last minute and found another member of the Friends for Pets team to help us out when needed. Ozzy has a great time with Catherine and she is extremely reliable. I know each day when she pops in that he will be looked after and have lots of fun on his walks. Thank you for providing a great service x

Friends for Pets Dog Boarding have been great for my troubled Staffie/Patterdale Terrier cross Dex. Gill looks after him and although she has seen him at his worst she is still willing to look after and love him to bits whilst he stays with her even though he is a difficult case to look after and deal with.

I am so pleased to have found Friendsforpets - I know my little pup is being loved and cared for on the days I cant be there! Alison has been very helpful and flexible in sorting out lovely walkers! It was reassuring to be able to meet them with Alison prior to starting and good for my pup too.
